Bhaskar Mukherjee Teacher in Pakhawaj

Bhaskar Mukherjee is an excellent Pakhawaj player from Kolkata who had intensive training from the eminent pakhawaj player Late Mridangacharya Rajeeblochan Dey. He also had the opportunity to learn with the Pt. Bitthaldas Gujrati and Pt. Ramakant Pathak.

The ace Dhrupad singer the Late Ustd. Aminuddin Dagar loved his style of pakhawaj support and invited him several times to provide him support in different concerts.

Bhaskar served IIT Mumbai in their Dhrupad Project along with Ustd. Fariduddin Dagar to provide Pakhawaj support in the teaching of music.

He has performed in many important Music Festivals in India like Dhrupad Mela, Varanasi, and many others. His performances also received warm welcome from the music lovers of the US and Canada.
