Rajrupa received intensive training in sarode, since her childhood, from the eminent teacher, Mr. Siddhartha Roychaudhury [a disciple of Pt. Radhika Mohan Maitra and Ustd. Saukat Ali Khan].  She also received training from Late Ajay Sinha Roy and Joydeep Ghosh.  Rajrupa is currently taking special musical guidance from the eminent sitar maestro, Prof. Sanjoy Bandopadhyay.
